Despite all the talk of faith-based government funding, The Lord's Closet relies on private individual
gifts to keep the wheels of our trucks turning and the overall operations TLC running.
TLC DOES NOT receive funding from local, county, state or federal government sources.
TLC DOES NOT receive corporate grants.
TLC DOES NOT receive one penny from United Way except designated gifts by individuals.
About 90% of our funding comes from private individuals and about 3% from churches.
At this time we are still a 100% VOLUNTEER Organization, which means that 100% of your money
goes to the operating costs of helping local families who have fallen into a difficult situation. TLC
also helps families living in the Appalachia mountains of West Virginia, Kentucky and Tennessee
who are living below the poverty standard.
Your TAX DEDUCTIBLE gift allows TLC to help thousands of children and their families with
clothing, toys, furniture, appliances and just about anything that you might find in a house.
